Aikman Drive which runs alongside Lake Ginnidnerra’s eastern foreshore, intersects with Emu Bank and Eastern Valley Way, just to the south of the Belconnen Skate Park.
The Aikman Drive Precinct is home to Timezone & Zone Bowling Belconnen and the Canberra International Sports and Aquatic Centre (CISAC). Across the road from the Indoor Bowling Centre is the The University of Canberra Senior Secondary College Tennis Courts and the John Knight Memorial Park fitness activities.
Timezone & Zone Bowling entertainment centre features arcade games, tenpin bowling, bumper cars and laser tag, all under one roof. There are also party rooms and a cafe serving tasty food and drinks.
CISAC is one of the largest multi-tenancy health and leisure facilities in Australia. Located onsite are two health clubs, aquatic facilities (indoor pool and waterslide), a Day Spa, medical services, scuba diving training, child care, discount health and fitness supplies, a hair salon, and cafe.
Across from CISAC and Linq Apartments is the Belconnen Oval. A great field to explore, walk your dog or kick a ball. The Bruce Campus of the University of Canberra is just a short stroll to the east of Aikman Drive.
